About the Authors

Daniel Enskat
For almost a decade, Daniel has led the development of Strategic Insight’s Global fund research and consulting effort, and is widely sought after for presentations, discussions, and his perspective on the global asset management industry by associations, academia, regulators, the media and management boards of the firm’s over 250 clients worldwide. He has written extensively on the fund industry, including various books on Asia, the Middle East and Global Fund Distribution. He regularly conducts product and distribution master classes for CEOs and heads of asset management worldwide. Daniel has master’s degrees in politics, history and law, speaks six languages and, prior to Strategic Insight, worked as a consultant to the World Bank, Chief Financial Correspondent for a European publishing house, and in academia. The government of the United States awarded him an O-1 classification as a person with extraordinary abilities and international acclaim in business. |
Jag Alexeyev
Jag pioneered Strategic Insight’s international research and consulting service and now directs the firm’s worldwide activities outside the US. Leading a talented multinational and multilingual team of professionals, he established SI as a key partner for fund executives in building global businesses. As the architect behind SI’s European and Asian fund intelligence platform, now expanding to include Latin America and the Middle East, he oversees the firm’s broadening international research initiatives, creating new technologies and analytical solutions to support industry growth and adapting to change. With Strategic Insight since 1993, Jag also authored several in-depth books and many widely read papers on fund management. Previously he was an advisor for the World Bank and United Nations, and has degrees in economics from Harvard University and international relations from the London School of Economics. |
